There’s nothing quite like walking into the gargantuan structure of the Millennium Stadium and seeing your favourite band play a gig, right? The atmosphere is thrilling, the music mind-blowing and your mood is soaring, but because that all happens in the evening sometimes you want to get there early and make a day of it. The best way to make the day truly special is to book a cruise on the Cardiff Party Boat, also known as the HMS 69!

The HMS69 and her crew will take you from the Taff Mead Embankment dock (two minutes walk from the Millennium Stadium itself), down the River Taff, around Cardiff bay and back again in a three hour round trip of a life time! Turn the experience into a party and enjoy free booze from the bar, BBQ food from the buffet and hot tunes from the DJs and on the dance floor too!
Each cruise begins 3 and a half hours before the gig is due to start, so that you have half an hour to get from the dock to your seats inside. Remember the crew and the flagship HMS 69 are there to help you relax and enjoy yourselves so there’s never any rush!

So if you’re planning on buying tickets for the huge Oasis 2009 gig or the Take That 2009 concert both commencing in June then make sure you book your Cardiff Party Boat tickets a few days before too! There’s no better way to see the sights of the Welsh capital City than from its waters. Who knows, you might meet some other avid fans who plan on going to the Stadium for the gig too.

The HMS 69 itself is a large boat which holds up to 49 guests, plus the crew. It usually runs cruises from 7.30pm until 10.30pm every single night of the week but especially for Oasis and Take That fans in 2009 the crew are there a few hours early to help make the hot summer day in the Capital city even more magical. They’ve got dance moves, party games, free food and drink and of course fancy dress to keep you entertained for the three hours you are on board the prestigious Cardiff Party Boat. She’s endlessly popular with students, hen parties and office work parties and now music fans can get in on the action too!

It’s not just the Take That and Oasis gigs that the Cardiff Party Boat crew expect to be catering for in 2009; whatever big names are playing at the Stadium, the HMS69 will be there to help their fans have a pre-celebratory cruise. This portable party venue is the ideal place to prepare for the atmosphere you’ll be experiencing later on. Who knows? Maybe the HMS69 DJ will even play some of the band’s favourite hits?
