HMS69 has worked with Barnardos and private fund raisers in the past and is proactive in encouraging charity organisations to use our services to raise funds. Please take a look at the following points and if your charity is interested in running an event on HMS69 please send us an email (info@hms69.com) with your requirements.
a) Charging an all inclusive price (typically £30+ pp) all beer, wine and soft drinks, hotdog & burger are included and free entry to TigerTiger. In this instance I would give £11 pp to charity (potentially £330-£539). Good as you raise more money, bad as students tend to think it sounds expensive, even though EVERYONE has a good time, a good time is the easy bit, selling tickets is not quite so straight forward!
b) Charging to come onboard (typically £14+ pp) 1 hot dog is included all drinks are charged separately. This gives £6 pp to charity (£180-£294). Good as it is easier to sell and could possibly do more than 1 event, bad as it doesn’t raise as much money.
The main points to note when organising your charity event with HMS69 are:
• You can charge what you like if you think people will pay more or can bring added value to the event (High profile DJ, Prizes, Guest Celebrity)
• Minimum of 30 people, Maximum of 49 people
• Entry to TigerTiger depends on general managers permission
• Definitely not available on a Friday/Saturday or bank holiday Sunday
• We can advertise your event on the HMS69 website and the HMS69 Facebook page and also take payment using the website, there will be a booking fee added to each transaction which is paid for by the person making a reservation. If you sell your own tickets direct it is important to keep in touch to ensure we do not sell too many.
• Sailing times are 4:00-7:00pm and 7:30-10:30pm. Other times through the day are of course available, so please ask when contacting us
• The sooner we start advertising your event the better
What we Require from YOU

* We only make payments we have received on your behalf direct into the registered charity bank account
